My Story

Benita M. Elcock is an Author and Life Coach that provides spiritual guidance to those that she comes into contact with. She’s worked in Community Management, as the Manager and Recording Secretary of a Condominium Association in Washington, D.C. her love of community was born here. \n Benita started a family-owned business in 2020 called Borrow My Dad, where she and her husband along with her father served families in the community by providing Hoarding cleanup and hauling services. These services came with healing services because she understood that there was an emotional side to this level of restoration. \n Benita holds a degree in Criminal Justice and is currently pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies. She’s been a member of the CAI Institute (Community Association Institute), where she’s obtained required professional designations to manage commercial properties and engage in community events. Benita has been a member of First Baptist Church of Highland Park since 2010 and completed the Discipleship Program there. She’s also a published author as of 2020, her children’s book title is “We Planted Seeds Today”. Benita is deeply committed to helping others, she loves to serve. Her ministry is family counseling, Benita is a humble woman of God. she was given the opportunity to become an active member of the Women of Triumph. The Women of Triumph is a faith-based organization geared towards supporting spiritual leaders. The titles that Benita holds dearest to her heart is Wife and Mother.
